Motorsport98 has raced prototypes since 2017, the year the Michelin Le Mans Cup opened up to LMP3 cars. Three Ligiers have worn its colours: the JS P3, the JS P320, then the JS P325 with its twin-turbo V6 engine, with which the team won its two titles.

Its home race is Spa-Francorchamps. It won there in 2025 and in 2026.

In 2025, Le Mans Cup fans voted its livery the best in the LMP3 Pro/Am class.
